~Bio~

Aaron West earned his Ph.D. in Musicology
and his Masters in Jazz Performance
at the University of North Texas.
He is currently Professor of Music at Collin College.
His research interests include commercial music, jazz performance practice,
and jazz historiography.

Aaron is also a professional jazz pianist
in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
He performs extensively in Texas and the surrounding region,
and he can regularly be seen playing keyboards with
the Freddie Jones Group.
